this guide helps you connect your existing whatsapp business app to peach copilot through meta's official signup popup before you start use a desktop browser such as chrome mobile browsers, especially on iphone and ipad, can block or interrupt the meta popup make sure you have access to the whatsapp business app on your phone the correct business phone number with country code a facebook login for meta's signup flow permission to create or manage the meta business account you select you do not need an existing meta business portfolio if you do not already have one, meta can create one during setup watch the walkthroughs start with the in product setup walkthrough some users might see an older version of meta's onboarding screens step 1 open peach copilot sign in to peach and open the copilot setup journey confirm that the phone number shown is the whatsapp business number you want to connect if the number is wrong, correct it before continuing step 2 connect with meta select connect whatsapp business peach opens meta's embedded signup popup in the meta popup sign in with facebook when prompted choose an existing business portfolio or create a new business account select or enter your whatsapp business phone number follow meta's pairing instructions on your phone please choose "share my chat history" if you want peach and your ai assistants (like chatgpt, claude or others) to have access to your past chat messages and contacts approve requested permissions click finish and wait for the popup to close do not close the popup early if the popup says setup is complete, still use meta's final button so peach receives the connection step 3 connect your ai client after whatsapp is connected, connect chatgpt, claude, cursor, or another mcp compatible client from the connect mcp step the mcp server url is the same for supported clients https //app trypeach ai/api/mcp authorize the connection when your ai client opens peach once connected, you can ask your ai client to search messages, find contacts, and help reply to customers you can also skip mcp during onboarding and pair a client later from pair via mcp in the copilot navbar recommended first test ask your ai client find my latest whatsapp business messages and summarize what needs a reply if no messages appear, send a new test message to your whatsapp business number and try again after a minute if setup gets stuck see stuck during setup? # for common recovery steps and what to send peach support related guides fix meta signup errors # why are my contacts or messages missing? # use peach copilot with chatgpt or claude #
